Where the Numbers Stand Right Now
Every figure below is pulled live from the campaign's own first-party tracking system. 1000 is a milestone, not a ceiling: the count keeps going, and future milestones are set deliberately as each goal is reached.

Our Story
Angels in Action began when a group of people saw a real need and chose to move toward it instead of away from it.
The first mission focused on communities affected by the 2026 British Columbia wildfire emergency.
Our role is different, but the principle inspired us. We built Angels in Action to make it easier for people to:
The result became more than a single campaign. It became a living system for turning awareness into action.
When Disaster Strikes, Angels Rise.

Angels in Action was built through shared ideas, complementary strengths, rapid execution and a willingness to step in wherever the mission needed support.
These Founding Angels helped take the idea from a conversation to a live campaign, building, testing, marketing, measuring, recruiting, refining and launching a system designed to continue.
No single person made Angels in Action happen. The team did.
First Mission: 2026 British Columbia Wildfire Emergency
Where We Went, Day by Day
Define the Need
- Came together around a shared desire to help communities facing disaster.
- Chose disaster response as the focus.
- Created the R.I.S.E. framework: Reach, Inspire, Serve, Empower.
- Made measurable action part of the mission from the beginning.
Validate & Simplify
- Evaluated multiple causes, relief organizations and approaches.
- Tested decisions against urgency, trust, measurability and execution speed.
- Removed approaches that created unnecessary complexity.
- Chose a model where financial support goes directly to a verified relief organization.
- Began developing the Angels in Action identity and campaign assets.
Build & Go Live
- Locked the British Columbia wildfire mission.
- Published angelsinaction.live.
- Built aggregate first-party action tracking.
- Created the first 72-hour resilience resource.
- Developed the Wings and Zoom referral assets.
- Created a privacy-first campaign with no lead capture.
- Launched Mission Control as the operating dashboard.
Market, Measure & Scale
- Expanded the campaign into a value-first funnel.
- Added a second practical business-growth resource.
- Strengthened the wildfire story with verified context.
- Added official-source validation.
- Deployed campaign video and short-form social content.
- Expanded social and direct outreach.
- Continued QR and Wings distribution.
- Improved source attribution.
- Expanded the team.
- Organized evidence and campaign assets.
PROMOTE → MEASURE → LEARN → OPTIMIZE
Prove, Integrate & Continue
- Captured current campaign results.
- Documented the measurement methodology.
- Consolidated what worked and what could be improved.
- Organized campaign evidence.
- Preserved the public resources and operating system for continued use.
- Transitioned from initial launch into ongoing campaign growth.
The launch was the beginning, not the ending.

What We Learned
The decisions behind the campaign, and the principles that shaped them.
Early exploration produced too many possible causes, organizations, metrics and tactics. The team simplified around one urgent mission, one public destination, and one measurable Angel Action.
A donation request alone was not enough. The campaign became stronger when useful resources were available whether or not someone contributed financially.
Waiting for perfection would have reduced the time available to learn. The team launched a working campaign, then improved messaging, measurement, resources, backgrounds, story, source tracking and distribution.
The team cannot verify individual donations or donation amounts. Instead, it measures Homepage Page Loads, Angel Actions, Wings activity, source attribution, and other aggregate campaign engagement where available.
The campaign originally explained the project more than it made visitors feel the human need. The team learned that people are moved by meaningful stories, not more explanation about why a project is good. The site evolved to combine human consequence, real urgency, strong emotional framing, and verified government / relief information.
The Zoom backgrounds evolved from promotional graphics into identity and referral assets. Claim Your Wings turned participation into visible distribution.
When a tactic created friction, weak measurement, compliance concerns, or poor conversion, the team changed the approach. The mission remained constant while execution evolved.
The team learned that marketing should not wait until every asset is complete. Personal outreach and social distribution created meaningful engagement once activated, and starting those channels earlier would have increased reach.
No single person could have completed every part of the project within the available time. The campaign moved faster because different team members contributed across strategy, technology, content, marketing, reporting, outreach and execution.
Campaign Continuation
PROMOTE → MEASURE → LEARN → OPTIMIZE → REPEAT
- Continue increasing Angel Actions
- Continue distributing free resilience resources
- Continue measuring source performance
- Continue growing the Wings referral movement
- Continue improving the campaign from real behavior
- Continue supporting urgent disaster-response missions as appropriate
- Raise future milestones deliberately as each goal is achieved
The first mission gave us a reason to begin. The people we serve give us a reason to continue.
